Shiba Inu coin had a massive pump starting October 4th 2021.
Starting at $0.00008 per coin going up to a max of $0.000020 per coin.
Which is roughly a 180% increase in price per coin.
So why did the coin pump? If you have been in the crypto space for the past few months you might already have a good guess.
Elon Musk had tweeted a pic of his dog Floki Frunkpuppy with this hashtag: #SHIBA. This brought enough attention to the hashtag and people assumed he was buying into the coin and created a massive pump.
Floki Frunkpuppy will forever be known as that one dog that pumped Shiba Inu coin in 2021.
What I found to be absolutely hilarious, is that Matt Wallace the creator of Dodge Coin commented and said "SO CUTE!!! #DOGECOIN TO THE MOON!!!"
Instead of seeing a pump on Dodge Coin, the competing coin Shiba Inu got pumped.
Due to the current market cap of the coin, and the low cost per coin I don't see much potential in the coin long term. However I thought this was too funny not to share.
